Tough loss on Saturday, but had we caught a couple breaks, we were right in that ballgame.  The touchdown turned interception in the endzone was a gamechanger.  Hopefully we can bounce back next week against the boilermakers.  With any luck at all, I still think 9 wins is doable.  Go Irish!

Looking at the schedule, I think that 8 to 9 wins is possible. The tough games are going to be USC, Michigan, Boston College, and Michigan State (in order) but, compared to last year the schedule is alot easier.

Hello,i read youre note regarding Notre Dame college football team,so what i m try to say is:Notre Dame is a strong tradision team that will rebound with the present coach or with the next one.The reason Notre Dame team this year did so bad was that there present coach dinnt build the team was not his ,when he got he coaching job i think 2 years a go.So this year he had allot of rookies.Take care.

Irish, I believe that the ND will be looking at more like a 7-5 or 6-6 season, they will go to a bowl game (higher than they probably deserve) and will beat a team that is less talented but has a better coach on a late field goal and everyone will proclaim that ND is back.  I think ND is a great school and has a wonderful program, but has one of the worst coaches in the profession.  Fat boy as you called him is overrated and there are at least 2 dozen coaches that are better than him.  That is why I will not root for ND until he is out on his fat a$$.

steel I'd like to say yes to the 10 wins alittle high but the gold blood in my viens says no just like I didnt exspect the 3-9 season last year I like to go out on the limb and give fat boy alittle credit to develop all that talent he has and the talent he has coming in who and what says you cant turn a program around in a year that can compete for a bcs bowl ...I dont want one that we dont deserve but a 10-2 11-1 season will deserve one and make believers outta alot of haters GO IRISH

I think the Irish will be improved, but dont you think 10 wins might be a little high?  I'm thinkin more like 6 maybe 7 this year with a steady progression the next few years.

Good morning Irish!  A Packers fan from the OLD Bart Starr days, and who isn't a Cubs fan? Although I will say I have been a Boston fan for years.  And for years, Notre Dame football was college football. I still have my ND Fighting Irish sweathshirt that I wear from time to time.

Here's hoping the Fighting Irish have a great football season, and that somehow they make a deal with my Cards, and play each other.

Charlie Weiss needs to start winning this year, or else. Time to chit or get off the hot dogs n beer!

Glad to see you posted on the Louisville page about the upcoming battle Thursday night!  Love my Cards, and enjoy having a healthy debate with the opposition. The nice avatar helps. LOL

Good Luck!
